 We are looking forward to this year's camps with great excitement. There are lots of old favorites as well as some wonderful new activities so we hope you've explored all the possibilities. Each week will be a bit different but you can definitely expect your child to learn some new skills, meet a new friend or two, finish at least one new masterpiece, and have some fun while all this is happening.

We’ll be celebrating Independence Day week with a more spontaneous schedule – join us for a half day or for the entire week (with Wednesday off, of course). We’ll be working on all sorts of projects -using different materials and techniques - while making new friends. All ages are welcome and everyone will be able to work at the level and pace they find comfortable. Frequent breaks, including walks to the park and stories for younger participants, will help keep up our creative energy. We plan to also have the chance to work on some collaborative projects we can create as donations to wounded veterans and children’s hospitals. Join us during Independence week at doodlebug - No fireworks, just lots of fun!

Paint in the Studio (cost according to selected painting project + $8/hour) Before and after camps – plans must be made in advance – maximum 2 hours.

• Enrollments will be accepted in the order that they are received.
• Deposits are required and will be refunded (less a 10% handling charge) if cancellations are received via email at least three weeks in advance of camp start date. Cancellations between 1 – 3 weeks in advance of start date will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be given if cancellations are received less than 1 week prior to camp start date.
• We reserve the right to cancel camps (up to one week in advance of start date) if enrollment is not sufficient. We encourage children to sign up with friends and also provide a 15% sibling discount for camps booked during the same week.
• Breaks will occur during camp time and we encourage you to send along a snack (we don’t allow sharing of food). Your registration form will request information as to any allergies or other situations about which we should be aware.
Gr. 2+ Creative Recycling: This camp will have the strangest “materials” list of all – from old calendars and magazines to vintage handkerchiefs, wood and tile samples to old t-shirts – not to mention stray game pieces, bottle caps and broken dishes. We’ll explore the infinite ways that old “stuff” can be recycled (or upcycled!) into new artwork, utilitarian objects and even fashion statements! You won’t want to miss this – and you won’t forget what you learn about appreciating the potential in the often-underappreciated contents of your “junk” drawer.
